The Tega Cay Golf & Conference Center, located just south of uptown Charlotte, offers a challenging 27 hole layout, that rates among the most popular tracts in the region. With three nines available for playing, golfers are spread out with 10 minutes between tee times, allowing players to complete 18 holes in under 4 1/2 hours, and that's on a weekend! During a trip around the Tega Cay Golf Club, golfers will be challenged by the layout and amazed by the spectacular views afforded by the course's elevation changes. You can get a Carolina mountain golf experience, just over the South Carolina border from Charlotte.

Played the Blue Tees, 6900 yards definitely need the driver but you better hit the fairways or it will be a long day. Greens had just been punched a couple weeks ago, fast but a little bumpy. Best course around for $35 bucks, about an hour and 15 from Raleigh. Nice Pro Shop with top tier gear, and wait staff with a great *Personality*. Top notch practice facilities and decent carts, probably not a great course to walk, overall one of the best public play course in the area, feels like a resort course.

Just played the weekly event here and this course is even better shape than my last trip out a month ago.  The greens are rolling fast and true and the fairways are still like carpet despite the cooling weather.  If you're hitting it well the scoring opportunities are there, start hitting them wayward and this course can pile on the strokes in a heartbeat.  One bit of advice, like most of the mini-verde greens, play short of the hole if possible, the ball is almost certain to release unless you're coming in with a wedge or short iron.

Played this course last week, the fairway's were in great shape, the greens were moving fairly quickly and have come back nicely!! The Par 3's tee boxes need to have some more grass on them. 1 suggestion that I would give them would be to put up a net on the right side to keep driving range balls off of the course.

Great track.  Just be sure to stay in the fairway!!  Once you get a little off, this place really penalizes you (guess that's why you need to hit it straight).  The greens are really rolling fast right now, much faster than anything else I've played recently.

Good golf course, for the shot maker. No need to grab the Big Stick on many holes, unless you have keen accuracy with it. The rolling terrain gives for a variety of shots as well.  Course is marked very well, so if you hit one just a little wayward be prepared to find a red or white staked area. Greens are in very good shape and like most MiniVerdie Dwarf Bermuda grass greens they are rather firm and not very receptive to approach shots. Bring the ball in high if possible.  The tee boxes could use a little extra grass on them, not too say they are bare, just some thin spots. Overall I would suggest any one with extra time during your day, head out to Tega Cay and play a round.
